We’ve moved to Stonewall

Dear Gardening Friends,

The last two years have brought tremendous challenges to all our lives, but one constant remains: the importance of healthy, home-grown food…fresh from the garden.

We gardeners are driven to budget our time for planting seeds and tending to them in our personal gardens; to harvest a healthy and bountiful return, for seed, but also for the connection to earth and nature and to our friends and neighbors.

Your gardening efforts empower that small germ of a seed to produce an abundance of food for yourselves, your friends and for community food banks. By planting a few extra seeds, your efforts result in meaningful and nutritious donations to local families in need…and we all grow together.

For the past 20 years, Watson Farms has been growing trees and producing compost which is mixed with mulch to create blended soils for lawns and gardens.  I like to say, “healthy gardens start with healthy soil.

But in addition to growing trees we (Ok...me!) have also grown older and have reached the point where we need to down-size and consolidate our efforts.

So, instead of having a 15 acres tree farm Watson Farms now has a ½ acre tree nursery in Stonewall.  We are now open “by appointment” so please call to arrange a visit.  We’d love to see you again or make a new friend.

Let’s grow together!

Sam
